March 26, 2008: Romeo and Juliet is now available to listen to! It was recorded by Speak the Speech, and stars actors from Portland, OR. You can find it here, or by going to the Readings page.

February 24, 2007: Speak the Speech is excited to announce our journey into the world of Podcasting! You can now download our plays directly to your iPod or mp3 player! Currently The Tempest is available and we will be adding the rest of the shows on a regular basis from now on.

December 30, 2007: Happy Holidays from STS! The Merry Wives of Windsor is now available on our readings page. It is the newest addition from our partner company Sounds of Shakespeare. November 3, 2007: Three new plays are now available from our partner company Sounds of Shakespeare. Cymbeline, King John, and Antony and Cleopatra can now be heard on the STS site. Click on "Readings" to listen!

September 2, 2007: We've posted a link to All Ears Theatre's production of Macbeth. Take note that this is an abridged version. Also, STS' version of Romeo and Juliet has been recorded and is currently in the editing room. Finally, A Midsummer Night's Dream will start rehearsals in March!

July 22, 2007: Sounds of Shakespeare has agreed to host some of their complete plays on the STS site! These will be up on our site for you to listen to within the next few months.

July 1, 2007: Henry IV: Part Two will be up for your listening pleasure! We are also starting our rehearsal process for Romeo and Juliet, directed by Marc Freidman.

March 3, 2007: STS now has a e-mailing list! If you wish to receive news updates about Speak the Speech please email our secretary at speaksecretary@gmail.com. The news updates will include when new shows are posted, auditions for recordings, new site features, and more!

March 1, 2007: Speak the Speech announces its 2007 recording season! We will be focusing on Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
